I wanted to give them a new life by putting them on handmade marble paper and framing them in small brass frames. Perfect as a single piece or a small collection.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eProduced primarily in France on commission for Sirooni New York, many of the artists behind these designs were Parisian creatives immersed in the flourishing Art Deco movement and influenced by progressive European workshops such as the Wiener Werkstätte. Intended for wallpaper, textiles and luxury gift wrapping, each design was originally hand-rendered in gouache.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThese surviving samples possess sophistication — part archive, part artwork — and feel remarkably contemporary today.
