One of the questions I’m asked most often is: Where do you find all these treasures?
The answer is a little bit magical (well I like to think so), a little bit methodical—and always guided by instinct, experience, and a deep love for beautiful, meaningful objects.
Sourcing unique antiques and decorative pieces from around the world is not just part of my business—it’s part of my life ( you can ask my husband!). It’s about finding pieces that speak to something deeper: craftsmanship, culture, memories, and timeless design.
Here’s a little insight into how I discover the special objects that make their way into my collection.

1. Trusted Dealers and Specialist Fairs
Over the years, I’ve built relationships with incredible dealers—some who specialise in just one thing, like mid-century ceramics or antique textiles, and others who surprise me every time. I attend vetted antique fairs and markets across Europe and the UK, where quality, authenticity, and provenance are key.
These connections are based on trust and shared passion. They know what I love—and sometimes even save pieces just for me.

2. Quiet Corners and Hidden Gems
Some of the most magical finds happen when I least expect them. I love exploring off-the-beaten-path antique shops in France or other European countries I travel to, local flea markets, and any of my travels. I have this "radar" that scans every new place for possibility. It’s often in these unexpected corners that the most soulful pieces appear—objects full of imperfections, stories, and charm.
I always travel with curiosity and an open mind. You never know what’s waiting in a dusty corner or behind a pile of forgotten textiles.

3. Auction Houses and Estate Sales
I regularly browse auctions—both in person and online—always looking for items with character and quality. Estate sales are another fascinating way to source; they often reveal collections lovingly gathered over decades. It’s a privilege to give these items new life and homes where they’ll be cherished again.

4. Direct from Makers and Small Studios
While antiques are my core, I also occasionally source handmade pieces from living artists and studios whose craftsmanship echoes traditional techniques. Whether it’s a hand-thrown ceramic bowl or a newly woven textile using ancient dyes, these items blend beautifully with older treasures, creating a layered, lived-in aesthetic.
5. Following Instinct Over Trends
I don’t buy based on trends—I buy based on feeling. I have bought for trends in the past and it just onset work for me. Trends often come round again I believe and that's the magic of antiques they come in and out of favour. I’m always guided by a simple question: Would I love to live with this piece? Is it something I could keep for a long time?If the answer is yes, then I know someone else will feel the same.
Each item I choose is carefully edited. I look for authenticity, texture, colour, and soul. I want you to feel something when you see it—curiosity, comfort, nostalgia, or joy.

6. A Global Eye, A Personal Touch
Although I source globally, I always curate with a personal lens. I think about how pieces will sit in your home, how they might spark a memory or conversation, or how they could add a touch of wonder to an everyday space.
No two objects are ever quite alike—and that’s the beauty of it. Our differences are what makes us interesting and make us connect-well that's my belief.
Sourcing antiques is about so much more than shopping. It’s about preserving stories, supporting craftsmanship, and embracing the beauty of imperfection. I have my own treasure chest of pieces I have collected over the years and they form part of my collection which I can get inspired by but also share with you.
Every piece you see in my collection has been hand-selected with love, whether it’s a piece of 19th-century French glass, a handwoven Indian textile, or a forgotten artwork rediscovered and reframed.
