The Leeds RAG Fashion Show 2025 (LRFS) is back on 28th February and 1st March, bringing together fashion, creativity, and philanthropy at The Refectory, Leeds University Union. As the largest student-led charity event at the University of Leeds, LRFS combines fashion and community to drive social change. This year’s theme, Zeitgeist, reflects the evolution of fashion and its impact on society.
Each scene in the show is carefully curated to showcase key moments in fashion history, from the structured elegance of the Victorian era to the glitz of the 1920s and the bold, statement-making style of the 1960s. The final scene looks ahead to the future of fashion, challenging the audience to rethink fast fashion and embrace sustainability. By the end of the show, attendees will be left with a powerful message: fashion has the potential to shape not only our wardrobes but also our world.
Charlie Brown, Creative Director of LRFS 2025 and a final-year Fashion Design student at Leeds Arts University, brings her expertise to the show, pushing boundaries with bold, innovative designs. Alice Turner, the Fashion Director and a Fashion Photography student, has sourced designers from across the UK and internationally, ensuring a diverse, sustainability-focused lineup.
More than just a showcase of style, LRFS 2025 is a fundraiser for three vital charities: Mind, supporting mental health, Women’s Aid Leeds, providing safety for survivors of domestic abuse, and Emmaus Leeds, helping those experiencing homelessness rebuild their lives.
