The piece

Diameter: 22 cm

Fine, intricate and individual designed basket plates made using sisal by the women from the Tintsaba cooperative.

These baskets are made of sisal, a sustainable weed which grows naturally in eSwatini (Swaziland, Southern Africa). The women have respect for the earth and have incredible skill making each piece individual.

The Tintsaba cooperative has over the past 30 years seen more than 1000 women train and learn the weaving skill in the rural regions of eSwatini.
