Beautifully handcrafted from weathered French oak by a small group of artisans in South Africa, therefore irregularities in texture reflect the human touches received during the making process and these should be embraced.
Great pride is taken in the ability to retain the authenticity and history of where this timber originates. The richness of the red wine is still clearly visible through the grain of the 100 year old French oak.
These items are heat resistant and perfect as a coaster for hot dinnerware. Perfect for entertaining - indoors or out. Not to be used in the oven, microwave or dishwasher.
This hand crafted board is a versatile piece. A variety of uses but ideal for serving up delicious bread, cheese, cold meats and sushi. Un-oiled for a rustic look it is ethically produced using sustainable wood.

how do you know this item is special?
I have been working in the Art and Antiques field for more than 30 years. I have a BA/Masters degree in Art History from the Ecole du Louvre in Paris and Oxford University and worked with a high end dealer in London for many years as well as a display of Art firm.
How quickly will my item arrive?
We try and get your item to you as quickly as we can. We want it to arrive in perfect condition. We do dedicate two days a week where we wrap and send parcels. Check out our shipping policy for more information.
