Souleiado Indienne cushion
Oblong cushion made from a vintage block printed Souleiado border cotton fabric from the late 60's early 70's (front) and silk douppion (back).
The brand Souleiado was created in 1939 in Provence and takes it's origins from the 16th century love for the "indiennes" fabrics imported from the Great Indies to Marseille.
Souleiado means “when the sun shines through the clouds after the rain” in Provencal.
Natalia says "I absolutely adore this design with bold flowers- just enough to spuce up a more subtle scheme"
