Sphinx is a British company founded in Chiswick in 1948 that created high quality costume jewellery in a range of styles. they were really sought after and international companies such as Neiman Marcus and Bloomingdale's had lines made for them. The jewellery is often not marked as they then could be marked by the fashion house.

Sphinx ceased to operate in the late 1990's.
